What is Bravelle™?
Bravelle™ is a follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), one of the hormones that stimulates the ovary to make mature eggs. Bravelle is used to stimulate the development of multiple follicles in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology treatments (ART).

How Do I Use Bravelle™?
Here are step-by-step instructions for taking Bravelle™ (urofollitropin):

Flip plastic caps off of 1 vial of diluent and as many vials of powder as you have been instructed to use

Clean the rubber stoppers of all vials with alcohol

Using a 3cc syringe with a 1 ½" needle
Pull the plunger back to the 1cc mark

Carefully remove the needle from the syringe.

Twist the Q-Cap™ onto the syringe.

Insert the Q-Cap™ through the rubber stopper of the vial of diluent

Invert the vial.

Push on the plunger injecting 1cc of air into the vial of diluent (to break the vacuum)

Withdraw 1cc of diluent by letting go and then pulling back on the plunger

Remove the needle from the vial

Inject 1cc of diluent into the first vial of powder if it does not dissolve instantly, (swirl don't shake) the contents

Invert the vial, withdraw all the liquid

If you are using more than 1 vial of powder inject this mixture into the 2nd vial of powder

Continue injecting the mixture into vials of powder until you dissolve all your recommended powders

Remove the vial from the Q-Cap™ at an angle and pull off.

If you are injecting subcutaneously replace it with a ½" needle

Gently push on plunger until air pocket is gone and expel a drop of liquid

¿Qué es Bravelle™?
Bravelle™ es una hormona folículoestimulante (FSH, por sus siglas en inglés), una de las hormonas que estimula al ovario para producir óvulos maduros. Bravelle se utiliza para estimular el desarrollo de múltiples folículos en mujeres que se someten a tratamientos de tecnología reproductiva asistida (ART, por sus siglas en inglés).

¿Cómo utilizo Bravelle™?
Aquí incluimos instrucciones paso a paso para administrar Bravelle™ (urofolitropina):

Remueva los capuchones de plástico de 1 vial de diluyente y la cantidad de viales de polvo que se le haya indicado que utilice.

Limpie con alcohol los tapones de goma de todos los viales.

Utilice una jeringa de 3 cc con una aguja de 1½ in.
Tire del émbolo hasta la marca de 1 cc.

Con cuidado, quite la aguja de la jeringa.

Gire el Q-Cap™ sobre la jeringa.

Introduzca el Q-Cap™ a través del tapón de goma del vial del diluyente.

Invierta el vial.

Presione el émbolo para inyectar 1 cc de aire en el vial del diluyente (para eliminar el vacío).

Retire 1 cc de diluyente soltando el émbolo y, luego, volviendo a tirar de este.

Tire la aguja del vial.

Inyecte 1 cc de diluyente en el primer vial de polvo si no se disuelve instantáneamente (haga girar el contenido, no lo agite).

Invierta el vial, retire todo el líquido.

Si utiliza más de 1 vial de polvo, inyecte esta mezcla en el 2.° vial de polvo.

Continúe inyectando la mezcla en los viales de polvo hasta disolver todos los polvos recomendados.

Remueva el vial del Q-Cap™ en ángulo y tire de él.

Gire el Q-Cap™ para quitarlo.

Si inyecta de manera subcutánea, reemplácelo con una aguja de ½ in.

Presione el émbolo suavemente hasta que se elimine la bolsa de aire y salga una gota de líquido.
